Heading up the celebration of alternative club culture are Sink The Pink and Guilty Pleasures with their Hoopla friends and family in tow. The gender bending army Sink The Pink will arrive at Victoria Park hot off their lauded takeovers of East London haunt Bethnal Green Working Men's Club alongside their sell-out quarterly nights at The Troxy. With flamboyantly themed dress codes, ballroom-style pageant, fabulous choreography, drag queen lip-sync battles, masterful DJ sets and more making up the dazzling after hours itinerary, The Guardian sum it up perfectly: "It's colourful, it's carnivalesque and it's transgressive." Guilty Pleasures remains London's most immersive, unapologetic and unimaginably entertaining club night around. Taking to the stage at Camden's iconic KOKO every month for a night of decadent debauchery and diverse pop classics, the Guilty Pleasures crew can also be found at Britain's best loved festivals. Presenting the new pop event concept, Mighty Hoopla will be packed with relentlessly energetic DJs, bedazzling dancers, live bands and speciality performers galore including the ten piece brass band Old Dirty Brasstards.

Other club nights making up this year’s Hoopla are the premier power ballad night Ultimate Power; the bingo party that’s taken the UK by storm – Bongo’s Bingo; huge karaoke night Masseoke; female only R&B night R&She, We Love Pop (does what it says on the tin); East End performance bar The Glory will take over the bandstand and many more troupes and dancers to be announced who spend most of their Monday’s picking glitter out of their hair.

"The Mighty Hoop-la has gathered many of the best alternative club nights and performance troupes for a festival dedicated to high camp, high energy and high-concept fun." The Guardian A universe of shameless, fun filled with all the major names in alternative clubbing. Metro A triumphant coming together of some of Time Out’s favourite night’s out. Think of it as the Live Aid of the London nightlife scene. Time Out "It was amazing. Everyone I’ve spoken to since has said it was incredible and had a great time.Gay Time
