Today Resident Advisor has announced its latest In Residence series event in collaboration with The Hydra and ourselves, set to take place at Studio Spaces this December 17th.
This party has actually been a year in the planning. Fabric were working towards our first partnership with RA to take place in February this year, that they were also building up the specifics of their inclusion in Resident Advisor's In Residence series. An ode to the international clubbing community and the import of the spaces that ground it, it has arrived at a particularly poignant time in their history. Their situation has really put a spotlight on the best aspects of our community and our culture. They've seen not only fans, but also competitors come behind fabric and back them, while they've been closed and work towards an appeal and hopefully the re-opening of their disco. Alongside the entire team at Resident Advisor who have shown them immense support during this difficult period, this event would also not have been possible without Ajay Jayaram and Dolan Bergin from The Hydra. They join the heady list of individuals who we owe pretty much everything to right now. So, it gives fabric a huge amount of pleasure to be able to join with Resident Advisor and The Hydra to present this event.
