I caught up briefly with the lovely Karen Harding after her set at No Tomorrow Festival!
How are you?
Karen: Good thank you
How was your set just now?
K: Amazing! I’m still catching my breath now I think. But it was really good.
Do you prefer playing festivals or more intimate gigs?
K: Ooo that’s difficult because I like to see peoples faces, and sometimes at festivals you can’t see everyone’s faces, or maybe you cant get around to everyone’s faces. Just the sound and atmosphere is great at a festival
Do you have a favourite place to perform at?
K: Not yet, I think I am yet to find it
If you could perform with anybody who would it be?
K: Mariah Carey… Can they be dead!?
Yeah! Dead or Alive
K: *Laughs* (a lot) you don’t know what to say to that!
Not at all, you go for it!!
K: Michael Jackson…he would be number one. Justin Timberlake… there’s loads of people its hard to choose.
Just have them all together, its fine
K: Or just one after the other, just have one big show!
Your single ‘Say Something’ skyrocketed and has done so well. How has it been to see the reaction, and everyone listening to it?
K: I still cant get over how many people know the song and coming here today, when I was performing everyone, when the song started, everyone came running over, and I just wanted them to join in! It was really good, but I just can't believe how well it connected with everybody, and I am glad that everyone liked it so much.
Have you got any future plans, any tours anything we are allowed the scoop on?!
K: I have got a lot of gigs over the summer, all over the country and some in Europe too, which should be fun. We will have to wait and see about tours and things like that.
